Our technology · About Ubiquity

Ground-level signals that national polling misses.

Ubiquity collects and geotags data from regional social media and messaging channels, then applies AI-assisted sentiment and thematic analysis to show how public opinion shifts over time and varies across individual regions, cities, and communities.

Built by FilterLabs.ai and provided to our partners under a shared services and license agreement.

Theory of change

From asymmetry to accountability

  1. 1 · Problem

Civic monitoring relies on manual, delayed, under-resourced methods.

  2. 2 · Inputs

Ubiquity, our analysts, and verification methods refined in regional monitoring.

  3. 3 · Outputs

Signal feeds, analysis products, partner publications, methodology record.

  4. 4 · Outcomes

Faster, cheaper data-grounded analysis than surveys or anecdote allow.

  5. 5 · Impact

Reduced technological asymmetry and a stronger evidence base for accountability.

In practice

What hyperlocal monitoring reveals

Our monitoring of Russian regional Telegram and VK channels surfaced region-specific patterns in war sentiment, economic distress, and dissatisfaction with local officials across Saint Petersburg, Kursk Oblast, Buryatia, and Novosibirsk Oblast, and documented internet shutdowns that disrupted banking, transit payments, and drone-attack warnings.
